High-Performance Machining in a Compact Design
The rugged and versatile FF5300 Flange Facing Machine delivers high-torque performance for fast facing of pipe and valve flanges, efficiently and economically restoring sealing surfaces and bearing surfaces.
Exceptional Machining Precision
• Heavy-duty tool slide delivers stable performance and reliable results, ensuring high-quality cuts across the machine's full working range.
• 2.4 HP pneumatic motor provides greater power and higher speeds, significantly increasing metal removal rates for faster job completion.
• Manufactured in an ISO 9001:2015 certified facility.
Versatility
• Interchangeable tool slides allow for easy adaptation to confined spaces or special conditions without purchasing a new machine.
• Broad machining range of 5.7–40 inches (144.8–1016 mm) offers greater flexibility—one machine can handle applications that would typically require two separate units.
• Adjustable axial and radial feed rates allow operators to easily control cutting tool feed for consistent, reliable performance.
• The 360° rotating tool head and inserts enable multi-angle machining and positioning, accommodating various cutting operations including beveling, O-ring grooves, ring-type joints (RTJ), lens rings, and other angled surfaces.
• Cutting tools are available on request, eliminating the need for outsourcing. The tool holder accepts square shank tools up to 0.5 inches (12.7 mm), suitable for HSS or carbide inserts.
• Adjustable clamping system and quick-connect chuck jaws enable fast and easy setup.
• Both the tool slide and counterweight arm are adjustable for optimal swing clearance and machining range; the counterweight is easily adjusted for near-perfect rotational balance.
• Detailed operation manual includes easy-to-follow tips and step-by-step setup guides for flange facing.
Safety
• Automatic feed system eliminates operator hand contact with moving parts, ensuring safe operation.
• Low-pressure safety interlock prevents accidental restart after air supply interruption.
• Emergency stop button allows for rapid shutdown and controlled restart.
• Modular components are lightweight, easy to handle, and transportable, reducing the risk of worker fatigue—a leading cause of workplace accidents. The FF5300 is 45% lighter than comparable models on the market.
Machine Components
Rotating Tool Head, Axial/Radial Feed Speed Controls, Pneumatic Drive Motor, ID Mount Leg Sections, ID Chuck Mounting, Counterweight Assembly, Quick-Connect Chuck Jaws, Axial/Radial Feed Selector.
Adjustable Leveling Foot Kit quickly levels the main machine without affecting its center position. The leveling feet feature built-in adjustment screws to raise or lower each leg for rapid setup and leveling; they use a quick-connect design for easy replacement of the standard FF5300 chuck jaws.
